I feel pretty special. Today I found my blog listed on a Top 100 Running Blogs of 2012 list. I made it to the same list last year as well! Pretty sweet. Thanks, to the Marathon Training Schedule blog for adding me to the top 100!
The time has come to announce the final winner of the Holiday Virtual Race Series. But how about a few stats first:
2012 reported finishers:
Thanksgiving 5K – 14 finishers
Christmas 5K – 13 finishers
New Years 5K – 21 finishers
compared to 2011 reported finishers:
Thanksgiving 5K – 26 finishers
Christmas 5K – 45 finishers
New Years 5K – 40 finishers
I really debated whether or not I was going to do it again this year, but had a few people ask if I was going to do it again, so I went for it. The race sponsors donated great prizes, which all in all totaled over a $350 value. Thanks again to the virtual race sponsors for 2012:

Ok, the winner of the New Years virtual 5K is ---
Thanks again to everyone who participated and to all the companies that sponsored the races!
