I don’t know how popular this is, but I had never heard of this “One Word” for the year thing until I read Amanda’s blog (Run To The Finish). She told about her word for 2013 being purpose and also linked a site that gave her the inspiration for her ‘one word’.
Well, I was inspired by it too! It took me a few days to decide on my word for 2013, but in the end I picked BECOME. There are always so many things I want to do and and accomplish each year, and this year is no different. But what I want to focus on is BECOMING who I want/need to be.
I need to become a better wife. I need to become a better mother. I need to become more spiritually minded. I want to become a personal trainer. I want to become a marathoner. I need to become a better friend. I want to become more open to change. I need to become an awesome volleyball coach. I need to become a good cook. I want to become stronger and faster.
[side note: I made this sign specifically for the ‘one word’ resolutions.

By the way…HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I didn’t plan on staying up until midnight, but my man and I watched Trouble With The Curve but didn’t start it until almost 10 (I don’t know what we were thinking!). Good movie by the way!
Oh, and today is the day to get your New Years virtual 5K done and done. I’ll pick a winner on the 3rd but you have to have your picture/finish linked by tomorrow night.
